Our weekend was filled with activities, fun activities. Friday, I had Bunco night with other moms from Daniel's school. It was nice to meet everyone. The food was delicious and the drinks were awesome. It took a couple of calls to a mom to find out the real rules of Bunco but we made it through one round. HA!
Daniel came from school with a new creation. They are learning the initials of their names.
Saturday, D had a party to attend. It was his first invitation to a party from school. Lots of boys ran around like crazy. A few girls whined about boys pushing them and someone yelled "someone farted in the ball pit".
Sunday, we went apple picking. It was a great weekend with fantastic weather.
A fire truck can provide a child hours of fun and a few bruises.
Daniel telling us what sound the water would make out of the hose.
Getting set to pick apples on daddy's shoulders.
Much better than the one strawberry he picked in June.
for the record, I totally overdressed D for this outing, hence, the pants look. I thought the weather would be at least a few degrees cooler up north.
Another family outing in the bag.
We enjoyed a delicious dinner in Lake Geneva and burned off some calories walking around and enjoying the scenery.
