I was in the waiting room waiting for her to be born, I changed her diapers, I've been watching her grow into a smart and wonderful woman that she is becoming.
I was a mess when she opened the door...

7 months
Michael you are 7 months old today. I remember with Daniel the months went way slower than with you. I still remember our colic days (not sure I'll ever forget those) but in a blink of an eye you seem to be closer to 1!!!!!!!!!!!!
You have been so happy this month, besides our little adventure on our vacation (will be give an update in a separate post).
You started off the month still not crazy about fruit and breakfast but in the last 3 days you have been a champ. You love to eat oatmeal with a variety of fruit.
Your day schedule goes something like this:
Wake up around 6 to eat, you only eat about 4 oz, you go back to sleep till 7:30 (that will change this week as we are no longer on vacation). You eat breakfast between 8 and 8:30. You take a snooze at 9:20 for a good hour and a half. You have a bottle around 11 or 11:30. Lunch is at 1 (veggies). Another snooze around 2, bottle at about 4pm, dinner at 5 (home made soup with lots of veggies) or so, maybe another quick nap and last bottle at 7.
You have 2 bottom teeth.
You love grabbing for things, necklaces and your feet are your favorite. You screech when you want attention. You roll over both ways. You are still wobbly with sitting so I think that will take some time for you as it did for your brother although you try.
You wear a size 2 diaper but I have started getting 3s as this is your last box. Clothes, you are in 9 months but we are getting summer things in 12 months because everything shrinks.
You continue to love being carried around and that makes things hard on everyone. You love songs and books. Your attention to Baby Einstein videos is the opposite of your brother. He watched an entire video and you make it through 5 minutes squirming.
You are sleeping in your crib at night but somehow you make it into our bed in the middle of the night ;) You are a better night sleeper than he was, maybe because he was a fatter baby and wanted to eat. HA!
Your stats:
Height: 27 inches (40%)
Weight: 17lbs 1/2oz (25%)
Happy 7 month birthday little one. You are so kissable as the day you were born.

Mother's Day Recap
Mother's Day, the one day I don't mind being the center of attention. I earned it, I've worked my ass off all year long and one day a year is not too much for the world to act like they appreciate me.
The funny thing about Mother's Day is, you're still a mom, on a holiday that you just want a damn break. My Sunday morning started bright and early, at freaking 5am.
Where is the liquor at?
The little guy is breaking his tooth and he wants everyone to know it. I staggered out of bed and brought him in with us, a daily routine that results in him passing out till at least 6:30, but guess what my friends? None of that happened on Mother's Day, he was up and ready to start his day. By 5:30 I was ready to cry, Ryan is not a morning person and so after some eye rolling and both of us grunting he took the baby and tried to put him back to sleep. At about 6:30 we realized none of that happy, perfect Mother's Day sh#$ was going to happen. Ry offered to get me some Starbucks to which I quickly replied "oh no, it's OK honey, I'm going to go get it". He looked confused but the 15 minutes of pure silence in the car holding a cup of hot coffee, still in pajamas (I put a jacket and pants over them, thank you) was the best moment of the morning. I cleared my head and as I walked back into the house I was ready to take it on once again.
I got the sweetest little gifts from my first born that he made at school. On Friday, he told me numerous times I could not open it but he gave me one clue about one gift, "you need to plant it". Oh the mystery.
By 8:30 we decided God was looking at me and telling me "dear child and your pathetic state, stay home and pray and don't even bother bringing those monsters to the house of God". So, we skipped church. I needed to regain my sanity. That dang cup of coffee only bought me an hour of peace.
By 9:15 we were running around the house trying to get everyone dressed and pack everything that we would need to meet my family for breakfast at 10am. I believe I did say "this is the worst Mother's Day ever" at one point as I was fighting Daniel to get dressed and Michael reached the whiniest state of his existence.
We were out the door by 9:50 and then waited 30 minutes to be seated. Things went surprisingly well after that.
We enjoyed my family, we laughed, the baby was passed around like a hot potato.
We came home and the best thing happened in the entire universe that turned my day around. I napped with the baby for 2 hours!!!!!!!!!!!! I watched The Breakfast Club as I dozed on and off. The duo (Ry and Daniel) watched Star Wars downstairs. All was well with the world.
Later on we met my in-laws in Long Grove for dinner. We didn't get there in time to shop but Ry and I were both depressed that the town seems to be barely surviving. Stores are closing, no one was at the restaurant, we are hopeful they will be there next year.
I didn't take any pictures with either side of the family but I did make out with these right before we left.

Cookin' it up
I've been trying out new recipes from some blogs that you may have noticed on the right bar.
These are tried and true and approved by The Marron Clan.
I've been really good about making a meal plan on Friday for the following week so that I know what I need to buy. I love it. My family loves trying new things but also having that one particular meal they were crazy about the previous week appear again is also a plus...
One of the repeated recipes for the 4th week in a row is.....
BBQ Chicken Pizza. This recipe is EXACTLY like the pizza from California Pizza Kitchen, DA BOMB!
Our next favorite is....
Stuffed shells, I did substitute the ground beef with turkey. I do have to wear a swimsuit this summer, the shells tasted great and now I know your own sauce is SOOO much better than jar sauce.
And then I went all Loco and even made my own dressing, the Olive Garden dressing. It tastes exactly like it!
Next on the list of faves is....Asian turkey meatballs. This one is from Skinnytaste.com. I love this site. Great recipes that are low fat.
I've tried other recipes but I'm only posting our favorites. Hope you try and Enjoy!

Happy Mother's Day!
Happy Mother's Day to Everyone.
Whether you're a mom yourself or have a mom, it's a beautiful day to celebrate or be celebrated.
I became a mom 5 years ago and my life has never been the same. There is exhaustion, less patience, less money, less time for yourself, less sleeping in, less thought put into the perfect decor for the house, but oh soooooo MUCH more love received and given than all the worldly possessions combined. I wouldn't trade it for the world.
My pumpkins rocked my world and I love the dance every single day.
