Tonight we headed out to the baseball field at a nearby park to try to capture a perfect picture of D holding a bat and a baseball so I can enlarge it and hang it in his room. Our first attempt to get him out of the stroller to pose on the diamond failed as we heard "No baseball, PARK!". We figured after a trip to the park he would pose and so we walked over the 20 feet to the park where D enjoyed walking over "
idges" (bridges) over and over again.
We got him all excited for baseball even though we kept hearing "no baseball mama,
dada". After Ry hit some balls we knew he would try to do the same, he approached the ball and this was as close to the perfect picture as we got....

We had fun trying but when he asked for his "
paci" we knew it was over. We headed home for a quick wash and some reading of goodnight moon.
Something tells me we will be trying this again.
