This weekend we were able to spend time as a family. We enjoyed trips to various stores, including Toys R Us, it's nice to let your toddler run wild at a toy store and you don't have to clean up at all. We enjoyed ice cream at Oberweis and a nice stroll around a beautiful pond where older ladies admired our walking toddler. It's really sweet to see 85+ little ladies approach D and admire him. I'm sure they have seen generations of babies take their first steps. I hope one day Ryan and I can sit and watch our great grandchildren toddle around us as we try to find our teeth.
The rest of the weekend was spent with numerous walks to the park where D admired 2 ladies, ages 5 and 7. He was smitten with them and followed them around like a puppy dog. It was pathetic.
Our daily walks are always in Daniel's "pimp mobile". This thing is so loud you can hear us coming a mile away. You can't see in this picture but usually he will have one hand on the steering wheel while leaning back.
It was nice to spend time as a family but this morning we woke up to the real world. It was nice while it lasted.
